How to Cook Chicken Breast Softly Without Drying It Out?
1 package Banvit Breast Filet
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
• Place chicken filets on a cutting board. Remove the tender part at the back of the filets using a knife. The tender part is the small attached piece at the back where the breast filet is thinner.
• To cook the filet piece evenly, place it in a plastic bag and flatten it with a meat mallet. If you don't have a meat mallet, you can do this with a pan as well. Cooking the chicken filet at a thickness of 2 fingers will be easier and more controlled. Perform the same process for the other filet pieces.
• Sprinkle equal amounts of olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both surfaces of the chicken filets. Massage to ensure the seasoning is well distributed.
• If there are any hands or equipment that have touched the filet, be sure to wash them. This will help prevent cross-contamination.
• The temperature of the pan is important for cooking juicy filets. To learn the ideal pan temperature, drop a few drops of water in the pan. Bouncing water droplets indicate that the pan is too hot, while stationary droplets indicate that the pan is cold. The ideal is to see the water droplets evaporate from the heat.
• Place the filets in the heated pan. At first, the chicken will stick to the pan, but after 6-7 minutes, they will release themselves. At this stage, you can turn the filets and cook the other side for another 6-7 minutes.
• The ideal cooking temperature for chicken is 75 degrees. You can check this with a thermometer or a spatula. If the filets easily separate with a spatula, they are ready to eat.
• After removing the filets from the pan, let them rest for 2 minutes before serving. Juicy filets are ready to serve. Bon appétit.
