How to Freeze and Thaw Chicken Meat?
• Place 1 piece of chicken fillet in a refrigerator bag. Put another piece of fillet at the other end of the bag. Fold the chickens in the bag so that they overlap and seal the bag by removing excess air. Thus, the fillets will not stick to each other. They will be convenient for both usage and thawing time. Writing month/year on each bag provides ease in terms of usage priority. If you do not want to use a pen in this process, you can classify them month by month in the freezer.
• There are several ways to thaw a frozen chicken. If you want to thaw in the microwave, you can use the defrost function without the bag or plastic wrap. If you want to do this with an air fryer, 10 minutes at 45 degrees will be sufficient for thawing. If you wish to boil a frozen chicken, adding it directly into boiling water and cooking without waiting for it to thaw is another method. The ideal thawing method is thawing at +4, which means in the refrigerator. In this process, the chicken must not be exposed to air and should thaw in a tray inside the lowest section of the refrigerator.
• During thawing, thawing on the upper shelves of the +4 refrigerator, thawing by contacting another food, thawing at room temperature for hours, or thawing under running water is not suitable for thawing chicken.
