Smart Child Table
In the first phase of our Smart Child Table project, which we carried out between 2008 and 2016, we instilled the importance of adequate and balanced nutrition and physical activity to approximately 2 million students. Our project was awarded the 1st place prize for “Health Awareness Application” by the Turkey Corporate Social Responsibility Association in 2011.
In the new phase of the project that we resumed in 2021, we focused on the topic of “Sustainable Food.” Through the “Smart Child Table” project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, we are carrying out activities to increase students' awareness levels regarding conscious nutrition and food waste.
Based on the reality that eating habits are largely acquired within the family, the 'Smart Child Table' encompasses the education and awareness activities of elementary school students, their families, and teachers on sustainable food. With our project's website and social media accounts targeting school-age children, we address parents and teachers who play a primary role in child development. We aim to raise awareness of conscious eating habits and sensitivity to food waste for both families and teachers as well as children by providing useful content such as various videos, trainings, and articles prepared by expert consultants in the fields of pedagogy and nutrition.
