Not correct. Due to these statements, which have no scientific basis and resemble defamation and urban legends, unfortunately, a distrust towards chicken meat has been created in certain segments of our society. Normally, these claims could be dismissed as “urban legends”, but we did not do that. At the request of our sector, we had a scientific study conducted under the supervision of the experts appointed by the Bandırma Civil Court of Peace. According to the results of a completely scientific study conducted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Uludağ University, lasting approximately 3 months; tumors do not burst from chickens.
