1 piece Banvit Iftar Chicken
Sauce Ingredients:
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1.5 tablespoons molasses
Juice of 1/2 orange
Juice of 1 onion
5 cloves of garlic (grated)
1/2 tea glass olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
For Rice:
1 onion (chopped)
4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
2 cups rice
3 cups hot water
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 handfuls of raw almonds
1 cup peas
• Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
• Set the oven to 190 degrees, conventional heat, and preheat.
• Thoroughly spread the prepared sauce over the entire Banvit İftarlık large whole chicken.
• Place the sauced whole chicken into the cooking bag provided with Banvit İftarlık. Put the remaining sauce into the bag as well, and tie the bag's opening. Make 1-2 small holes on the bag and put it in the preheated oven.
• About 50 minutes later, continue cooking, checking in between, until you reach your desired consistency.
• Meanwhile, soak 2 cups of rice in plenty of water for half an hour. Place a pot for pilaf on the medium burner and add olive oil and butter. Add onion, garlic, and almonds to the heated oil. Fry until the onions are golden and the almonds take on color. Add the thoroughly drained rice to the pot and fry the rice for about 3 minutes. Add 3 cups of hot water, salt, and peas. Cover the pot and reduce the heat, cooking until the rice absorbs the hot water for about 15 minutes.
• Transfer the prepared rice to a large plate and place the juicy, tender whole chicken on top.
• Your presentation, which will fit beautifully on your bountiful and delicious Ramadan tables, is ready. Enjoy.
