No, our chickens are not hormone-treated. Administering hormones to chickens is not physically possible both from a legal standpoint and because the application would require individual injections for each chicken. Banvit chicken, turkey, and feed samples are periodically taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and are tested for various substances; for example, hormones, heavy metals, antibiotic residues, etc. With these tests, the absence of hormone use and residues is regularly verified.
